We're aware of this and Stretham is working on it. It happens when the leaders solve a puzzle and move on to a new one, but haven't yet tried entering any answers - so the "average" guesses involve trying to divide zero. As soon as an answer is attempted, it rights itself.
Thanks for pointing it out, though.

Hmm, not really, but we've had a few problems with this contest (I think it's something to do with the last puzzle which may have gone AWOL for a while). I'll have a think about how to fix it here, but if it doesn't happen on any other contests then hopefully we can reasonably assume that it's not something generically wrong with the site.
