What was happening on 3rd March that was so interesting?

It was June, not January, and the main thing happening was Distractivations. However, we discussed this at the time and it was extremely odd that the time (~4am) meant that there was unlikely to be many UK or Dutch users online. I suspect it was some sort of spambot attack (as I recall at that time we did not have anywhere near as much protection in place).
