I've now added a first draft of a cryptic crossword tutorial (see the links from the crossword home page). Once again, I'd very much welcome any feedback you have on this. Some leading questions:
1. Is there anything wrong?
2. Is there anything missing (e.g. clue types I have ignored)?
3. Are any of the explanations unclear?
4. Are more examples needed?

I've fixed a couple of typos, and also added an abbreviations section. If anyone thinks of any other improvements, please let me know.

Humble apologies, as I updated the tutorial several months ago and then forgot to upload it.  It is now in place with some new sections that cryptic beginners may find useful.
