Hello everyone,

Just a quick note to say that as of this Saturday, my fiancee (double news really as I got engaged a couple of weeks ago!!) and I are going to India on an 11-week volunteering project. We will be near the hill regions of Darjeeling and our work will consist of a mix of education (English, Music, some basic IT skills), healthcare awareness (e.g. AIDS) and agricultural work (tree planting, promoting conservation, work in the tea estates). It should be an amazing experience for both of us, and we're both feeling a mixture of excitement and trepidation regarding it!

I will be trying to sort out a blog when I'm out there. I will try and post the link to it here once it is set up and then you can see what we're actually getting up to out there.
