I dropped some Gouda cheese over to my parents after I got back ( Im not a cheese fan), they want more next time I go Surprised

Get the Gouda with cumin seeds next time - it's much nicer and also makes the most fantastic cheesey toast...! Very Happy

I love the very old cheeses, they are very salty ... yummie.
You must buy some 'hagelslag' for your parents (and for yourself):

Next time (next month I think) my bags are going to smell of cheese and cumin (I could do with some cumin seeds for making curry too)

It's like our own cheddar, of which there are some very good ones, and others that should only be used for fish bait. I've had some lovely Gouda in the Netherlands.
