Hi all,
A nice feature in my opinion would be to separate off all the contests that have been completed from those registered. Just for clarity really.

We are in the process of re-designing the site at the moment, so we will bear your comment in mind. My only concern would be that we have new members joining the site all the time, and we don't want to make older sections inaccessible. We could have things listed in reverse chronological order, though - with the newest contests at the top.
In the meantime, though, each contest on the site has a link called Info next to it if you look at the main content page which shows whether or not a contest has been completed and (if it *has* been completed) gives the name of the winner.

Hi T22,
I think you misunderstand my request.
I meant per user on their content screen. Where it currently displays what contests they have registered, it also includes ones they have completed. I just thought it would be nice to show these separately.

Ah. Yes, I *did* misunderstand - sorry about that.
I'm not sure quite how that could be done as the layout of the Content page is generic at present - but we'll give it some thought. The database certainly contains the information associated with each username, so it should be possible to display a "Mistermickster's Completed Contests" (or whatever) on the page when you log in. We might also be able to have a personal stats page that contains information on all the contests that you have started rather than just the most recent one that you visited as at present.
We'll come back to you on this one when we've had a chance to work out the implications. Assuming it's possible, it will probably have to wait until the bulk changes to the site are introduced, though - and that is not going to happen for a while.

I've been thinking the exact same thing for a while now.
It'd be great for bragging rights too! |

I'd really like to second this request.
The contents list is getting rather huge and I don't like to defer completed contests incase people request hints on them.
It would be wonderful if we could have:
Contests - Started
Contests - Finished
Contests - Deferred
Other sections - Started
(Although this change is probably not as simple as it sounds ) |

Sorry, I forgot about this. I've made some updates this evening and contests you've finished should now be in a section of their own.
As usual, please let me know if you see anything wrong (and if possible, please send a screenshot of the error to xyphic@puzzletome.com).

I like the changes made, would it also be possible for another section being ineligble to enter - for any of the contests that you either wrote or helped play test. _________________ Alan
