ooooh, I worked with paint, but never realised that using the 'second colour' on the 'transparent background' will enable you to connect the puzzlepieces so beautifully and exactly!
These puzzles were fun already, but now even more, thanks.

The default on windows now seems to be Paint 3D  can you do a similar cheat sheet on that, in particular how to get transparency to work.
