We've detected a bug in the site software with regards to deferring contests. Unfortunately, this bug meant that although contests were not properly deferred, access to the associated forum was lost so it was difficult to post for help. I'm afraid this means that if you have previously deferred a contest, you will need to contact one of the admin to fix the access to the relevant forum.

The good news is that the problem is fixed, so the defer functionality will now work properly.

Many apologies to anyone affected by this.
