This one really is too difficult for me Sad

No POP in sight I think.

Moving on to the next one, but explanations for this one are appreciated.

I had my words checked on 4.10 and finished it myself.
But 4.11 and 4.12 are not possible either.
4.11 has too many options for some words, I have too little to guess the rest.
Please help there as well? thanks.

4.9 is just a cryptic crossword (which IS an acquired taste) but to start, 1, 5 and 7 across are just anagrams as is 2 down.

4.11 To start, all answers are 5 letter words which might help in sorting out potential anagrams and eliminating those that can't be.

4.12 is a SWYS requiring a synonym for the first word and a simple manipulation of the second word.

4.11 yes .... I know. I'm making new lists now, perhaps I overlooked something.
